Meet Taofeek
I moved to Canada from Nigeria in 2004 and to Leduc in 2017 with my family. With over a decade of experience in facilities and operations management including my current role with Alberta Infrastructure, I also serve on the Leduc Library Board, contributing to the oversight and enhancement of local services and resources.
I’m running for Leduc City Council because I believe its time for bold, practical leadership that puts residents first and bring fresh forward-thinking ideas to move us forward. My priorities include improving access to affordable housing which also includes finding log-term solutions for the unhoused, enhancing community safety and supporting inclusive growth through Stronger Community Engagement, Economic Development and Improve Infrastructure.
I believe in building a city that works for everyone, where residents feel heard, supported and proud to live in.
I want to make Leduc a place where progress is inclusive and leadership truly reflects the people we serve.
